How to design a colorful logo or text in Illustrator

I am starting this blog with a tutorial for how to design a colorful name or logo. Graphics is the creativity of attractive elements. So we must include attraction in all creation. Colorful design is the most useful technique for attractive design. So let us learn how to make a colorful logo or name in illustrator

 STEP – 1

• Select your modern font

Font must be an attractive and influent. If you select narrow font like Arial and Georgia that doesn’t work in this tutorial so thickness font like futura xblk is better for this tutorial. I am using Futura XBLK 

            Download verity font from www.dafont.com

STEP – 2

• Enter your text

STEP – 3

• Then press V key 
• Click right button on your text 
• Select CREATE OUTLINE 

 

• UNGROUP that text

STEP – 4

• Create design upon the text using the PEN TOOL (P)

STEP – 5

• SELECTION tool (V) 
• Select the graphics and go to WINDOW –PATHFINDER (shift+ctrl+F9)
• Click on divide icon
• Then ungroup the graphics

STEP – 6

Now you can select graphics as many bricks 

• Then select the one by one bricks and color it

You can take color from OPEN SWATH LIBRARY – COLOR BOOKS – PANTONE color bridge CMYK PC

• After apply color to your graphics

STEP – 7

• Then select your graphics and group it RIGHT CLICK – GROUP (ctrl + G)

STEP – 8

• Insert a black RECTANGLE graphic’s back side 

STEP – 9

• Export JPG file 

You can add more effect in this graphics like blur, drop shadow, inner shadow and more effect. Also create a white outline
